No, I.m not sure where it came from; it's also 'The Royal Albion' and 'The Streets of Laredo'. When I've played it at prodominantly Irish sessions, people called it that. It's wonderful how tunes go around from place to place.

Nice, Nigel. Do you think that's the oldest song that goes with that tune? I know it's older than "Bold Robert Emmett," but what about "unfortunate rake?" I don't know, but I love both the tune and several sets of words sung to it.
