I performed this with my son Christopher. The dulcimer is tuned to CGC, and the guitar is tuned down a whole step to DGCFAD. This tune was a challenge to see if I could write something in a major key but not use the IV or V chord. The result is a tune that doesn't quite feel resolved. In other words, "Not Quite Home". The painting, "Thatched Cottage", is by my friend Linda Woodruff.
