Hi Sea Strings! Welcome to the wonderful world of FOTMD!
in response to your introduction “2 dulcimers and counting” ………. How many dulcimers does a dulcimer player need? Just one more! 😃🎶
With so many to choose from, Wild Mountain Thyme has always been one of my favorites, and it's also one of the first I learned on dulcimer!
Hi Sea Strings, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome Sea Strings to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. There is a lot to learn about the mountain dulcimer--one can learn just to play or can delve deep into the culture and history behind the mountain dulcimer. And the great thing you find out most all of it here. There is much experience and much knowledge represented here. Look around. Join in the discussions. And above all ask questions as you have them.
Hey Sea Strings, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.
