Very happy you have such a nice dulcimer & gift from your husband. Enjoy
Thank you, Marg! I'm over the moon happy and look forward to learning. My husband and I had a good chuckle about how he claims he purposely waited until he was hard of hearing to find one for me! LOL Makes me laugh now just thinking how true that really is! :) Hopefully one day he will enjoy hearing me practice! Thank you again and nice meeting you! ~ Selah
Meet Emily! She arrived in great condition today, 11/6/17 She is a gift from my hubby of 38 years. She was made in 1992 by Angell Dulcimers, of Texarkana, AR (as seen on inside label) and is Wild Cherry and Redwood. Its my understanding that a lady named Joyce Angell owned Angell dulcimers, but I can find no information about the company or the dulcimers.
She is very solid, light weight and tuned up nicely and sounds good. I do have a few questions I will bring to the forum about a few parts on her. Thrilled she's finally home!
That's a beauty Selah.
Thank you, Benjamin. So happy to give an opportunity to sing again (thank goodness she's patient! ;) )
