Dusty: I broke a string not that long ago and was too lazy to replace it. Yes, I like it with one .012 string and thought about buying another MD for that reason. May still do it with Christmas money my out-laws sent me.

Nice playing and nice capo. I find it hard to sing and play the melody at the same time. I can strum chords and sing or I can play the melody, but playing a melody and singing simultaneously turns by brain into jello.

Have you ever tried removing one of the melody strings? I find it a lot easier to play with a single melody string.

I am with you on the singing thing - you'll notice the only video I have ever sang in was Jingle Bells.....when my voice was drowned out by 9 grandkids
