My contribution to the November challenge. A truly depressing set of lyrics (I won't be doing a "singing with the dulcimer" version of this one), but a pretty tune. Played in DAA on a 4-string walnut dulcimer.
James, this dulcimer is a Laurel Mountain FHG: all walnut body, bubinga-veneered maple fretboard, flat head. The headstock is my new profile pic (I added the olivewood Jerusalem cross, and swapped gold Gotoh tuners for the stock chrome Jin Ho's.
I still have the 5-string Berg I've used before. I just wanted to have a nice 4-string to go with it.
Very nice rendition William! Yeah, the lyrics are not pick me up kind of lyrics that is for certain Which dulcimer are you using in this clip? I love the rosettes I see.
Your playing and rendition are just lovely, William! Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
