Hi Michael! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Did your new dulcimers arrive yet? Just wondering! That will be a great way to ring in the new year!

Hi Michael,Sooo - any word on your new arrivals yet? Are they going to make it in time for Christmas? I sure hope so! How exciting!
You went to college in my father's family's neck of the woods--Carbondale and Mulphysboro area! I fully intend to head over that way some day and do some genealogical research!

Uh oh, gonna take a test drive huh? When are you going to do that?My baritone is a McSpadden and I love it! Also, the dulcimer that my grandson played at Fernwood is a McSpadden. Is this one for fingerpicking? Just wondering.Good luck with that!

How is that "DAD" (Dulcimer Aquisition Decision) coming :-)Sorry - once again - I couldn't resist!
I actually have 2 Blue Lions. My first was a walnut w/ cedar top. The second is rosewood w/ cedar top. The walnut has a nice mellow tone, but I prefer the rosewood. It has a very full, rich tone. You can hear the rosewood on the video I posted.

Hi Michael!I am happy to be your friend and glad you are here! This is such a wonderful place.....The only way it could be better is if we could all meet and have a worldwide dulcimer fest
I just noticed where you are from. We spent the night in Salem on 10/11 at the old Holiday Inn (I think it's called Guest House now...the one with the Denny's attached). We were headed home after doing a workshop in Indiana at Folkcraft, Small world!
Hi Michael, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
