A beautiful new year to you! A new tune for the new year - I began writing this piece last week, and as I played it, I thought of quilting! I have three gorgeous quilts made by family members. I cherish them. The art and craft of quilting is one that I greatly admire. I use hammer-ons and pull-offs quite a bit in this tune, and the motion of my fingers up and down make me think of sewing/hand stitching all the shapes and pieces together. I enjoy playing this one, and I hope you all enjoy listening to it!

I'm playing my Kurt Simerman dulcimer, using a wrist-rest pick-up run through my little Roland Cube amp, and it is recorded on my webcam.
