I hold a degree in music, and have performed vocally, as well as on silver flute, bass guitar, Native American style flute, and bass continuo. My main focus is now on playing and performing mountain dulcimer, as well as writing my own music for dulcimer. My heritage is Appalachian on both sides, so I feel this instrument strongly. I have a mug that says "The mountains are calling and I must play". That is so true. My favorite dulcimers to play are my Kurt Simerman and my Jack Ferguson. My cats love when I play dulcimer! : ) I'm excited to be in the process of recording my first solo album (all dulcimer), Back to Blackberry Creek!
