One little thought- I myself find it challenging to navigate a multi-area site like this one on a phone screen. If you can browse FOTMD on a laptop or desktop, at least until you get more familiar with where things are, it might be useful.

I hope you find some fun things to explore here!

Many thanks @Richard-Streib  and @Strumelia .

I did look through the How Do I...? section, and there was some useful info, however, I think I am still a sandwich short of a picnic. Anyway, I am here and will pipe up if I become too confused.

Welcome @Fearn !

You might want to browse a bit in our Forums area:

and also look there especially in the "How Do I...?" forum at others' threads asking about how to post things here, etc. You may find answers to some of your site navigation questions there.

Welcome Fearn to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. So glad you joined. This is a wonderful community of people who love the mountain dulcimer. There is a lot of knowledge and expertise among the members here. If you have questions please ask. We are here to support each other. Look around, join in the discussions and make some new dulcimer friends.

Hi all,

Thanks for the welcomes! I am multiple Clueless (sing that to Neil Young's Helpless). I looked for a way to make a first post, as in, hello to forum, but could not figure it out. I have been watching for a while now, and already greatly benefited from the fotmd, so, time to take the plunge.

Thanks so much again, and, in advance.

Hi Fearn, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben

Welcome to FOTMD Fearn. It's good to have you aboard. I look forward to your participation in these discussions. I'll have to look up Znamenry chants and find out what they are.
