I  am returning to the forum after some time away for surgeries, hospitalizations and otther age related problems. Unfirtunately my memory is not as good as it once was and I forgot most of the little I knew about this instrument. So I am starting again at 88 years old.

Ricco
02/15/26 05:02:36PM @ricco:

Richard, thank you for the information.  While I did start looking into the Probate Court approach, I am hoping that the administrator of the estate will "do the right thing" in the spirit of Mr. Ewing.  He was great to deal with and I hope that those who do manage his estate will  bring forward his integrity so that I can be made whole.  The tough feeling in all this is not just his passing, but my disappointment in receiving a custom dulcimer made by him.  Now I am back to square one and so far, out a pretty substantial deposit.  I actually gave him more than he required as I felt a strong sense of trust and confidence in him.  Let's see how it all plays out.
All the best, R
