Thank you Dale, Salt, and Charles...glad you enjoyed the tune and your comments are appreciated. The Mountain Lark and the HS pocket flute are great little instruments.. all I did was introduce them to each other!
Pine, Loved it! I am very intrigued by the Mountain Lark, nice sound, affordable ( I think it's affordable, but my better half will say " you already have four dulcimers , two guitars, and a drawer full of harmonicas why do you need that?" to which I say " well... ahh........").
Thanks Lexie, Gail and Caleb..Glad you enjoyed my little instrumental! Both instruments are VERY user friendly imho.
The Mountain Lark I think was D-A-D..( it was a while back and I do a lot of recording..i'll see if maybe I wrote it down) and the HS pocket flute is in high A. As you could surely tell, I record with a multitrack unit. The percussion was my hands on the back of my guitar and the triangle was a synth patch from my keyboard.
Thought i would post this as there has been recent discussion of NA flutes and the anticipated release of the new book by the Keane's on making music with MD's and NA flutes. I used my "Mountain Lark", with a 3 string diatonic scale that was built by John Huron and an Odell Borg High Spirits "pocket flute". To the Green in us all!!
