I noticed that the picture in this video freezes up on this site. If you play it straight from YouTube, it works a lot better.

That is so cool! Headless vids are sometimes necessary. I use a pen top for a 5th string banjo capo in a pinch. Never even thought of trying it with a dulcimer. Those hotel acoustics are great. Great vid.

So happy you jumped into the false nut conversation, Tom, because I did not exhaust the topic! I've learned from you on this one-- thanks! Oh, the pen sounds good as a noter. (Much of the time I use a homemade plastic noter.) I appreciate your showing folks how neat it is to experiment. Now, I'm on to watch your Part 2.
