I just looked at your photos, I feel like I have been to a museum. I got a kick out of the one that held the strings with a bottle opener. Such an impressive collection.
I have some old instruments that I hope you can help date for me, if you are willing. I will attempt to attach a picture of a recent acquisition. The first fret was so long, it was clear it needed a nut; hence the makeshift nut from Folkcraft. It does have geared tuners, but they are very old, and they have been modified. Two were missing the tightening screws when I got it. I have more pictures, but I'm not sure this is even working! Thanks for any help you can give.

If you have an email I could use, I could just share via google drive. Thanks.
