That's a very pretty langspil. I look forward to hearing you play it. I recently translated Stig Wallin's 1952 book, Die Schwedishe Hummel, published. by the Nordic Museum in Stockholm. It touches on the langspil as a relative of the hummel. If you are interested in reading it PM me and I will send you a link to download a pdf. It is large file so I can't can't email it or post it here.

It is brand new and made by Robert Worth. It's made with cherry and purpleheart woods, has a diatonic fretboard (as you can see) and is tuned DAD.

I've bowed a little bit over the years, but this langspil is inspiring me to master bowing! I also tap the strings, strum, and fingerpick. I'm thrilled to have it and am having a blast with it!
