Jim, seriously? Be glad to send you one. These are simple three plait. The reason I like them is you just pull out a single strand at any length you want and loop it onto your button so they are 'infinitely' adjustable. This works great for your lap. If I were going to carry I'd secure that loop with a cable tie backup.
The straps take about 5 minutes to make. Let me know the color (s) you like and I should be able to find it.
