I would love a link to your site on foraging!!!!
Thanks Sam for the comment on Chat this morning. I'll be posting things later today from Wartz. I'm can say without a doubt that we'll have FUNN
I'm afraid your message (about giving your dulcimer away & making your own) got erase when I click on accept you as a friend.
Do you know how I can re-locate it?
Do you have photos of some of the dulcimers you are making?
What was it you liked or didn't like about your DF dulcimer? Still trying to learn all I can about mine. Did you see any problems from frets wearing down or the tuning gears not holding? I'm hoping I wont have any of these problems, but I do read by some people's postings of dulcimer wear and I'm just trying to become knowledgable.
I have a photo of it on my page under my photos.
It's been some time since you posted yourvintage 1995 dulcimer on your 'photos dulcimer factory c. 1995 DF-4'. I was wondering if you still like it, I came across one much like it, 1996 one. I replied to your post and included a photo of my dulcimer. I was wondering if you still had the DF dulcimer? do you still liked it and have you found out anything else about it.

We're good here....my parents lost their power down on the coast but up here in the mountains we were fine. We do lose ours all the time up here in the mountains....have been thinking about getting a generator. I sure hope they get yours back on soon....no fun having no power or internet!! Thumb is a little better today...probably no strumming though. :(
Cheryl
I bet your power is out!! Hope it's back on soon and hope all is well!Cheryl
Sam,
Thank you so much for the whole turkey's worth of feathers and surprise noters too!!!! I'm so glad as I don't have a noter! Wow!!!! I'm really all set to do some old timey strumming for a long time to come. There is a return surprise in the mail for you so keep an eye out!
Best!
Cheryl
Sam ! Thanks for your comment, I was pleased to hear that you still prepare timber using the old ways, I can tell you that I have had some adverse comment, mainly based on the use of electricity and the puchase of toys that I don't have the space for, lol! Yes, it makes playing all the sweeter to have heard the saw and plane sing to me while making an instrument !
