Diane, I see that you live in Ohio. Depending on where you live in Ohio there might be someone near you to help you. Gary Sager comes to mind. David Lynch is across the border in Indiana if you are in that direction. I know dulcimer players in various parts of the state who may be able to help. It you want to share with me where you are, perhaps I can direct you to someone. If your frets are worn they either need to be re-crowned or replaced.
Hi Diane, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome Diane to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It is so interesting to think of how the dulcimer calls us back to it. Glad you joined the forum. This is indeed a place where you can get advice and answers to questions. I encourage you to ask questions, post comments, and enjoy listening to audio and video postings. Make music and make many dulcimer friends. Best wishes as you resume your dulcimer journey.
