Yes, that's from John Huron of Noteworthy Instruments in Bristol, TN.  He also taught dulcimer-building at events.

Oh wow! I see that now! John not Wm. That’s why I wanted to post this to the experts! This was my late Aunts piece and it was gifted to my mom who ask that I find it a good home to be loved on as it hadn’t been played in many years. Thank you both!!

That certainly looks like John's signature. Does the label mention Bristol, TN? And if you look at the web page linked in Strumelia's response the dulcimer on the web page looks similar to yours.

Are you sure it's Hurron and not Huron?
And that looks like a "John", not a "Wm" to me.
John Huron made many dulcimers and other folks instruments.

Handmade hourglass mountain dulcimer, signed "Wm Hurron" inside the body. Dark walnut body with cat's-eye soundholes and geared tuners. I couldn't find any documented history on this builder, so I'm offering it as a handmade player-grade instrument — priced accordingly.

Includes: instructional book, clip-on tuner, extra strings, and a noter — everything you need to start playing.

Condition: Excellent, barely used.

Asking $200 or best offer. Local pickup in Brentwood, TN, or happy to ship at buyer's expense.
