Thanks, Dusty! I can only imagine how pretty it is down there in spring.
Here in my backyard in Northern California, we've had have lemon, orange, and pomegranate trees in bloom over the last month or more. I've seen more than a few hummingbirds already and I always think of this song!
Thanks, Marc. Nice to hear from you! Perhaps your summertime comes even later than ours...

I've been looking at it longingly all day today saying "when are you coming?" well, I guess I'll have to wait until the first of May. way cool how you can sing "the R". not easy.... How I love these little gems of the bird kingdom. clowns....darlings. thank you for this happy song. 6 times listening to this song. reading every thing you have here. I live in Nauvoo, Illinois. Not far from Missouri, where??? I'd love to come and see you teach. aloha, irene
Thank you, all! In fact, we got our first hummingbird of the season today. It might've been just passing through because I haven't seen it for several hours.
Dean, I don't think I'll be going to KG but we'll see when the time comes. I've heard it's going to be near Hood Canal this year. I don't think there has been any official announcement, just rumor so far.
"...drives like a bullet, dives like a dart, strikes like an arrow aimed straight at my heart..."
You are a master lyricist and songwriter!
Such a happy tune! We get a lot of hummingbirds here and this definitely evokes their playfulness as they flit from blossom to blossom.
We just moved to WA from Oregon. So you are really "close". Are you attending KG this year?
Dean
So sweet! I love it!
This tune immediately brings one in a good mood - thank you
Thanks, Dusty! We're getting ready to do a week-long residency in Missouri week after next, teaching 75 fourth-graders and teachers to make and play box dulcimers. Whee!
So nice to hear your bright voice again, Heidi! I hope you guys are doing well.
