Hi, Nigel! My guitar player informed me just shortly ago that he gave me some bad info about our tune "Waterswivel". The chords are C, F, and G yet the other information I'd given you can be forgotten. ;)
Hello and welcome to the site. This is a great place to share ideas and listen to music. I hope you enjoy!
Thanks Nigel. What's that Weissenborn you have hanging in the photo? Does it have a spruce top?
Hello Nigel, sorry for the late reply, busy day yesterday ! No prize I'm afraid , tho' an idea had been promoted, a session with John Shaw on his courting dulcimer ? unfortunately abandoned after consideration that it may have upset his usual partner !!! Val my friend, no letter from the Queen, in any case it would have been superseded by the congratulations here received from our Strumelia .
Tho' we are 'celebrating' the 100th member of the UK/European group , it should be noted that not all who may have joined actually have , never the less, we have among us people from the USA,Norway,Germany,France,Sweden,Poland,Italy,Spain,TheNetherlands,Scotland,Ireland,Wales, and not a few from England !
I thank those of you who make contribution to the site , to 'fly the flag' for the group as it were, and urge those of you who have not yet done so 'to have a go', the more of you that do, means the less I feel I have to

Hi Nigel, and welcome to the world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Ben

Hey, that's mean, lol You'll have to give us a listen post Christmas Nigel. There are quite a few MD owners/players living in or around your general area, should you decide you also decide to join our sub-group, not only will you be able to easily pick out their locations, but you would become our 100th member !!!
John
Hello Nigel, a welcome to you from the UK/European group within FOTMD, glad to have you with us ! What dulcimer do you have?
