Pamela - if I remember rightly this recording is played on a 2005 Paul Hathway dulcimer in DAD tuning capo'd on the fourth fret. I often play it on a 1994 Andrew Whale dulcimer in GDG capo'd on the fourth fret - very high tuning.

Thanks I needed that!, you see I'm stuck playing Kingdom Come for four days straight. Black nag broke the spell. I play it in bagpipe tuning... ddDD... Bob

Really Nigel!
Just heard this. Very well played, Nigel.
Thankyou both - it is played with a capo on the fourth fret.
Enjoyed this very much. Lovely tune and playing.
