My latest build is a Scheitholt. The fact that it is fretted across all of the courses rather than just the melody course might disqualify it from being considered a Scheitholt in which case it might be considered a long, thin dulcimer type thingy.
Peter, I agree that it should not be considered a scheitholt but for two other reasons. The first being that "scheitholt" is a misnomer for a German hummel or zitter. Secondly, they did not have fret boards. The frets (usually wire staples) were fastened to the top of the instrument around along the side facing the player.

I've used zither pins for tuning. There is provision for a second melody string although I've initially strung it with only one.
