My latest build is a Scheitholt. The fact that it is fretted across all of the courses rather than just the melody course might disqualify it from being considered a Scheitholt in which case it might be considered a long, thin dulcimer type thingy.
The sound hole is "pepper pot" style and the shaped bridge is made from Paduak. The bridge looks a little garish at present against the Poplar and Sapele but the colour should soon age to a deep, rich brown.
