I think both cockatiels preferred MD to HD, probably because it isn't as bright or loud. Fred's mate, Branwell, had an irritating habit of flying over to me while I was playing HD, sitting on my shoulder quietly for a moment, and then chewing on my ear (progressively harder and harder) if I didn't stop. Just what I need: a cockatiel for a critic!
Thanks! It wasn't ever intended to be a video, but a friend of mine had other ideas. Now that Fred has passed away, it's nice to relive that moment again.
Thanks Patty, Lisa and Jim, for your comments. Fred wasn't the only cockateil voice featured in the video, actually. She was calling back and forth to her mate, Branwell, who was camera shy but making a fuss in the next room!
That brought a smile to my face. Great playing and great singing! Thanks for posting.

I don't know how you taught Fred to sing in the key of D. And I bet Fred preferred MD to HD, huh?
The cockatiel and I were both singing. Great playing!
That's just a happy video...thanks for putting it up!
Oh my! How I love cockatiels!! And your playing is darn good too....Fred and I both loved it!

Hey Pete, nice tune. I used to have a Cockatiel, loved that bird, yours seems to like your playing, too.
