Original banjo and gourd tune. The electric gourd is a fretless dulcimer lap steel thing I built. Here, it's tuned CGC and I'm droning the middle and bass strings.
Glad it made you want to dance, Dana! I've played it in a few shows with my trio and we've seen some children dancing. So far, the adults have been too shy... And, thanks, Sheryl.
R N Lackey asks what kind of distortion box I'm using on the electric gourd dulcimer... I run my stuff through Line 6 Pod HD5000 -- the floor unit they make. So I'mover-drivinga simulated amp. I tweaked that particular patch for many hours trying to get that gourd to sound like that.
Bucko, you done good. That tune has a great sound and the slide gourd gives it a "tone" that fits perfectly. What distortion box are you using (or are you using one?)

THAT WAS AWESOME!! I LOVED the tune it just makes you want to move. I've listen to it over and over can't get enough. Thanks for sharing.
Kevin, my electric gourd dulcimer has three strings generally tuned CGC. Here's a picture (some artwork from a recent album cover)...
