At the beginning of the summer I decided to have a pickup installed in my 1984 Hickory Ridge Mountain Dulcimer. I went with a K&K ALOHA TWIN UKE PICKUP. Photo below. I LOVE it. After choosing the pickup I searched this website for recommendations for portable amps that I can play my dulcimer outside. Serveral of you suggested the Roland Mobile Acoustic amp. I took your recommendation and I love it! The pickup and amp combo allowed me to play background music every Sunday at an outdoor concert series and I could be heard! Thank you for all that you do. A photo of my dulcimer at the summer concert series is below.
A warm welcome to you and may you make lots of new music friends here!
