It has been a long time (a few years!) since I've seen this video thread and I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the very kind comments and I'm sorry I have not responded sooner.  I finally completed my doctorate so I intend on getting back to regular life! Monica, thanks for your comment and bringing me back here!!

Cheryl, in reading, I have to respond. To me, your playing is above 99% of anything I have listened to from dulcimer players on youtube. Mary's Dream is exceptional even for you, but not for long. Your progress is wonderful. Your friends here are sincere in both their encouragement and pleasure. When you are ready, just know, you ROCK!

What do you mean you're not ready for youtube? That's a great version of an interesting piece. It deserves to be on Youtube instead of another cat video. Quit thinking you're not good enough and just DO it. If I had waited until I was "good enough" I wouldn't have a video up! Now quit stalling and excusing and make you a channel!

Thanks ya'll! Wayne....I'm not quite ready for youtube yet! You should hear Nina Z's version of this piece....it WILL curl ya toesies! I really have hardly done it any justice. You can hear an MP3 of her playing at the link above. Carrie, thanks girl....this fingerpicking ain't for sissies is it? It's a whole lot of work to remember all those notes and sequences.
