I agree, Robin. It looks beautiful. I really prefer dulcimers like this which simple and unfussy in appearance - and I've always wanted one with "upside down" hearts, like on many historic dulcimers (eg. Ed, Thomas). The sound is not loud, but a good combination of bright and mellow - if that's not a contradiction in terms! It's very responsive and I love it. If you have a listen to my sound files, this is the one I am playing on "William Winter's Waltz" and "Blackbirds and Thrushes".
