I recently added f-holes to the body. The resulting sound was much richer in both treble tone and bass tone, but treble was most improved. I don't play this strummer like a dulcimer; the strings are tuned (3-1) to E, A, D-flat.

Interesting, not sure I have seen one before. The f-holes look great & so glad you are pleased with the tone both treble & bass.
