Drumhead Baking Pan Dulcimer
22.5" VSL. Birch ply and Red oak with a light stain. 2l plastic bottle tacked onto the baking pan. Sharpie doodles on the side. Total cost was about 25$
First "real-ish" Dulcimer
Birch Ply, Red Oak. First dulc build with curved sides and a scroll, not that I got either right. Good learning experience though. This one incorporates a lot of experiments, including my "fingerboard gap" between the nut and the pegbox.
Birch Ply Dulcimer from Earlier
Built in my living room back in April out of birch plywood w/ a red oak neck. Pic of materials, one of tools, and a couple of building. Cost20 dollars for the board, 1x2 of oak, mando tuners, and fretwire, but Id argue the 4 leaf clover is priceless
Coffee cans and plywood
Birch plywood body with dark stains on the exterior and 3 coffee cans epoxied to the interior, as well as 2 sound posts and a false bottom.Red oak neck with a 21.5" VSL. Very bright chiming sound that I'll upload a video of soon
