I wrote a little chord progression using my d'Aigle Sparrowharp Autoharp. I had to record it in my house using my iPad as there were construction guys jack hammering across my street. I then took to the park and I improvised over the harp. I call this song "A Breath in Time". I used my George Dyson Em 432 River Cane Native American Flute. I am using the Litek mini Fx for reverb and to project the flute over the harp and the passing cars. The amp is made by Charles Knavle in Oregan. Contact him at Litek..
Thanks so much for watching. This song will be on my next cd of NA flute music. If you are interested my music is available on Bandcamp as well as iTunes and Amazon. God Bless

Nice playing and I like that hawk flute, Maria! A nice, calming tune.
Steven
Thanks so much Steven
im glad you like it. The flute is made by George Dyson from River came that he finds in Mississippi. The Hawk in flight was a request because since my mom passed away 21 months ago I've been seeing more Hawks them I've ever seen before. He had never done one in flight and I think he captured its essence so beautifully. Thanks for the kind words on my song too

Maria - I really appreciated the peacefulness of that tune. Always enjoy the creative titles you come up with. Keep posting !
Marc!! Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm really glad you felt the peace that I felt while I was improvising/playing it. I really love the flute for that reason.
I'm glad you like my titles. I guess that's the "songwriter" in me.
Take care and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Last Wednesday it was a really nice weather day out and I stole a few minutes to go to a park by my house.
In front of my own house where I usually play; construction workers were jack hammering a porch. So needless to say it made it hard to play.
I recorded my Sparrowharp autoharp inside using the line out into my iPad. (I wrote a little chord progression on it) I then took the iPad and the speaker to the park by my house. It's actually part of my younger son's Eagle Scout service project which he did 4 years ago.
Anyway, I'm really happy with the way it came out. I used my little Litek speaker for the Em Native American Flute made by George Dyson. He carved a special hawk in flight for me (he said he had never done one in flight before) I wanted it in flight because since my mom passed away 21 months ago I keep seeing hawks at the most appropriate reflective times. I thought he did such a beautiful job. He put a lot of effort into this flute and I love it so much.
I was amazed that everything went so right in that moment. Even though cars and busses were passing by no one screamed, no dogs barked; it just felt like me and the music. I got swept away and when I was done felt like I was in a trance.
By the way this flute is tuned to 432 hz and some believe it's a spiritual tuning and brings peace. I believe it too.
Thanks for watching
