New dulcimer player in Sweden, who was born in Cleveland and raised in Amish country (Kidron, Ohio). Musically I have sung with the Czech Madrigalists (a cappella Renaissance choir in Prague, CZ) and the Örebro Concert House Choir (Örebro, Sweden); however, I stopped singing in choirs after my third child was born. Now I only play bass trombone in the university orchestra in Örebro.

My wife and I have two boys, one daughter, and a rabbit.

Hi Tss, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben

Welcome Tssfulk to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. So glad you joined. It is wonderful that you are taking up the dulcimer to honor and remember your mother. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
