So...where does one find a Gibson Dulcimer?

I'm sure you may know the answer since this query is 4 years old. Ron Gibson Dulcimers out of Ohio. You can google it.

hi, ms chitwood - don't know if you saw the replies to your 'for sale' thread  before it was taken down, but i was one of the folks that wrote back as soon as i saw gary gallier's name.  i believe i've wanted to play one of his dulcimers the first time i heard one - hearing him play at kentucky music week last summer in a classroom setting intensified that desire quite a bit.

if you do decide to sell the star song, i hope you let the dulcimer community know - don't know much about ebay sales, but i would love an opportunity to acquire this dulcimer - as, i expect, would numerous other players and performers.

good luck. i hope whatever direction you go with this is an easy path.       alan kolman

HI D, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
