Carla that is very cool. The 5th string is definitely something I've never seen on a uke, but it reminds me of some of the older Polynesian ukuleles I have seen in museums, such as these ones. Coincidentally, the bottom ones placard claims it is also shaped like a fish!

Richard Troughear told me he modelled this wooden instrument after a tin toy use that was shaped like a fish.
