Thanks Sam and Mandy! I'm making progress in my playing but not feeling at all accomplished quite yet...still in the beginning stages. It takes a lot of flubbed videos before I get one with few mistakes. I strummed my first dulcimer (McSpadden) on May 5 when Fedex dropped it at my door. Well that's not entirely true...I plucked at my sister-in-laws once or twice before that but had no idea what to do with it!

Dusty, I have some other ideas as well...but my brain is far ahead of my abilities. I took your excellent advice and just recorded what I had for now and I'm going to put it away for a while. Back to some fiddle tunes...I think Uncle Henry this week. Thanks for your encouragement.

Carrie....those darn voices ya know?? :)

Thanks Lottie...and welcome!!

Very nice playing, Cheryl. It sounds great. I posteda version of this (also influenced by Norman Blake) but I think you add some nice frills that I skipped.
