The problem of too many half brothers hanging around town is so old. The poem you have sounds much like the old song "Johnny Be Fair" where the mother reassures her daughter that she can marry any boy in town as "your father's not your father, so marry whom you will". Love your version
And though I didn't date my cousins, I have a number of cases on my West Virginia side of cousins marrying each other. Cases so far back in the area's history that the first settlers were all kin. Just weren't enough unrelated bodies to go around.
Funny thing is I dated a couple of guys I found out later were distant cousins. (But heck we are in Kentucky) But anyway coming from a small town with a grandmother that had 16 brothers and sisters I thought I was going to have to move out of state to find a husband. LOL
That's right up my alley. LOL Great job Dana!
Saw that on FB. You done good, girl.
Dana, that's a hoot!!! We ain't right
