Good meeting you to Don
thanks Don, glad to have you as a friend
Don, thanks for the request. Stay in touch, James
Hey Don, thanks for the request!Hope you're enjoying the site so far, you probably already know we're all nuts here, LOL!
Hi Don. My wife is from Greenup county (Fullerton - across from Portsmouth, OH. It's no longer there - Rt. 23 wiped it out). We've lived in Cincinnati since we got married in 1951. We started attending the Fraley Family Festival sometime in the 70's or 80's. Had a lot of fun there over the years. Didn't get my first mt. dulcimer until 2004. Have built just under 40 so far. I may start another one this spring, but I'll be 84 in a couple of weeks so I don't push myself any more. Best wishes to you and yours.
My pleasure to accept Don !
Hi Don. Glad you joined us here at FOTMD.
Hi Don and thanks for the friend request. We may have met at Carter Cave park. My wife and I attended the "Fraley Family" festival there quite a few times. Always enjoyed them, especially the roadside jams that always popped up. Best wishes to you and yours.
Howdy and welcome to FOTMD!
Hey Don, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.
Welcome to FOTMD Don. It's good to have you aboard.
"The dulcimer sings a sweet song."
Don, it sounds good. Glad you are back at it. I'm sure you do good work.
Hi Don, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome Don. Good to see you here on FOTMD. We look forward to your participation. Best wishes.
Welcome, Don, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Several builders on here do some great reproductions of historic instruments, some with what might be considered "modern" innovations like full frets, others fairly exact duplicates of the old ones. Hope you enjoy it here.
