Greetings from Vermont and welcome to the site. Just listened to you song, and I too then listened again. Really lovely. I had some sad pangs of regret you saying you discovered the dulcimer in 1975 - I heard one too around that time, played in a music store, but at that time it did not grab me. I had been all about classical guitar since I was 12, and was still there. If I could do it again, I'd start with recorder and uke at 7, then add dulcimer at 10. I think you'll meet many interesting people and players here and find what you're looking for. Really glad you joined.
HI Woods, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome back

Thanks. I was a member several years ago, before the change. A nice corner of the net to be...
