Cardboard dulcimer I made out of pieces of a refrigerator box coated with glossy pecan poly-stain mix. The material cost of this dulcimer was about $9.
Thank you! The holes do not go all the way into the body, the box has no holes and the ones in the neck extend out in cone shapes out to the back of the neck and are mostly just to reduce the amount of wood just a little bit, plus I have gotten used to putting holes in those two places as they help me keep track of my position. It is tuned Dad
Nate that's so cool! Do the round holes in the fret board go all the way through into the body? (I assume the fret board is a solid piece of wood, not hollow) How are you tuning it?
Can't believe I forgot to post this
Thats amazing, love it!
How cool! I'd love to hear you play it, Nate!
