I often played this tune with my treble and alto recorder together with my duo partner on his celtic harp - I very much enjoyed your great rendition of it on the mountain dulcimer.

That was absolutely beautiful, Noah. I noticed in your Bio you mention Foxfire 3. I just requested it from inter-library loan yesterday specifically for the dulcimer article. Do you have TAB for your arrangment of Welcome and can you share or point me in the right direction? Dulcinina
I don’t normally do tabs since I play and learn by ear, but I’ll work on one and will send it to you. Thanks!
Noah Cline: I've noticed that there are quite a few O'Carolan tunes that can be arranged quite well for dulcimer.
Noah, if you go to the general Video section and punch in a search for "O'Carolan", you can see some samples from other members, kinda cool (though I'm sure the search does not catch all the O'C. vids, fotmd has about 2,700 videos total) :

Thanks. When I started banjo, I originally learned Scruggs/fingerstyle, and later moved on to Clawhammer, but having that basis has helped, not only for dulcimer but fingerstyle guitar as well.
O'Carolan was a a genius. You play this beautifully!
Very nice! I love O'Carolan tunes, and this was really lovely. Thanks for sharing it. :)
Thank you, Brian! I’ve done a few other O’Carolan tunes — check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaIvKtPurOchqV3JNFkm1WbdWyQmI4DnG
