@John Henry: Yes, I am still looking for a suitable (public domain) piece. Hopefully I can record something next weekend...
At the moment (apart from my daily profession) I need my sparetime to get all other ideas out of my head by making them become reality... Here's the prototype of the next step:
Have you ever tried to attach a kazoo to a harmonica holder (in order to have your hands free for another instrument like guitar, ukulele or mountain dulcimer). I didn't sleep very well last night, and then an idea came to my mind: why not give the wind channel inside two little bends - and so have a "HarmoniKazoo" or a "Kazoonica" that can be used with a harmonica holder? I don't know how to call it, as I just found out that both names are already given to other kazoo-like instruments... Anyway, here it is - as in inspiration for others who like to have one like this:
Well !!! We have had sound samples from all the instruments that you have made so far. Sooooooooooo, how about it Peter, we are waiting ? (perhaps some Wagner..........?) John could'nt resist putting you on the spot ,lol ( thanks for the info)
Here you are, John Henry:
