A wonderful musician and friend (Tull Glazener) has arranged this very old piece of music for the dulcimer. Her graciously has provided it free of charge along with the bass and the harmony for playing with others.
I did a slow interpretation of this song in honor of my mom who is no longer with us and yet who I think of daily. Mother's Day is in two days and it's difficult to experience without her physical presence. She was very religious and prayed the Rosary every day....so this song struck a chord.
Thanks for watching

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my this brought tears to my eyes. It is sooo beautiful, so heartfelt.
Oh my, so much to love about this! Your sweet voice, and lovely playing. I like that you used a basic chord-picking accompaniment with flourishes added in, and, well, the subject matter is dear to my own very sad heart as my mom died just less than 2 months ago. I miss her so much. She didn't pray, and seemed to feel embarrassed by prayer in general, actually... and yet she was spiritual in her own way and enjoyed the community of church. My mom was not an easy person to deal with at any age, but she loved me thoroughly and, yeah, I just miss her.
Thank you for a lovely few minutes!
Oh I'm so sorry for your loss Mary,
I wish I could say it gets easier :(
you were very kind in your words!
THANKS!!
Maria
Hi everyone, Tull Glazener has this tune along with the harmony and bass for free on his website in a nice pdf format.
I tried my hand at it since I've been a little blue with Mother's Day coming up. (this is my 2nd one without her as she passed away almost 15 months ago)
I was just telling someone how she prayed the Rosary every day. And then I see this song!!
I did it much slower than I've heard but I hope you like it...
Thanks for watching
