Wayne and Janene, thanks for your comments. Wayne - the "having fun" part is what it's all about. :) Janene - that's *is* a coincidence!

Brian--that is just too much of a coincidence...haven't thought of these in YEARS until today!!! And you posted this yesterday!

Thanks all! I love DAC also, but I don't actually know too many tunes I play in it, at the moment. Dusty, of the few I do know, I think most are probably melody/drone, and a few are melody/chord style. John - I have noticed (notes/drone) and I think your stuff always sounds great. :) John - Yes, I thought they fit together pretty well also. I actually had no intention of following up with Shady Grove. I just kind of finished and started playing it, and then said to myself "what the heck - leave it in there." Thanks again all for taking the time to look and to comment. I appreciate it.

I really like how the two tunes fit together. Great pickin' on "Lord Lovel"...very clean and even. I'm working on flatpicking myself at the moment, so that really caught my eye. Great job with this!

Nice playing, Brian,as always.

I just tried DAC tuning for the first time today. Do you play strictly melody/drone in that tuning or do you play across all the strings?
