Come Thou Fount is one of my all time favorites! It was written in 1757 by pastor and hymnist Robert Robinson. This was played on my Baritone Dulcimer and th...
Gail - this is a McSpadden Baritone - it is cherry with a redwood top. It was for sale at a small shop in Union Mills, Indiana. I had not been playing very long, but touched it.....and the rest was history - I had to have it :-)
Cindy, who made that baritone dulcimer? It has a wonderful sound.

Thank you so much Gail! I sure appreciate the kind words! It does seem hard to catch all the great things that go on here. I for one seem to miss things, then wonder how that happened!Thank you again :-)
Cindy, beautiful playing on a beautiful sounding dulcimer and wonderful pictures. How did I miss this when it was posted back in March? I definitely am adding it to my favorites.
Thank you so much for the kind and wonderful words CD!!! I am certainly feeling blessed - just by your post.....
I guess I don't think about my music really having an impact on anyone,
but you have made me really happy.....
I have said before that if my music makes one person happy or blesses someone, then I have attained my goal.
Thank you again so much for the joy you have given me

Thank you Jack! I do love my baritone....and it just seems so perfect for certain songs - Come Thou Fount is one, and - Away in a Manger - it just works so well - the bass string is the "drum" and .... sorry - I guess I am just rambling on - but I do love this instrument!

Cindy,Your playing is absolutely beautiful!!!...thanks for bringing joy to us all by sharing this lovely piece....your baritone has an amazing sound!!!!!Lynn
Don't ever apologize for many posts. It is how we all learn and grow. It is how we get to know you. Postings are little blessings from God to direct our paths and stimulate our minds. Maybe even just some great relaxing time to unwind from the stresses of life. That is what this post did for me today. God Bless you!!!!
Thank you so much Geekling! I don't really like to be "in" the videos either, although I have done some. You would laugh at me if you knew how many takes I had to do to finally get the music right - and then I look like a dork, but if the music is ok - well.....
Anyway, I am really happy with this slideshow - and like I said in my last post - I am excited to be putting together another slideshow - with my mom's pictures.
Thank you again for listening and for the kind words!
Thank you so much Mary! This is the first time I made a slide show. As I said, I had been wanting to do this. Photography is one of my other passions - and while I am NOT professional - I take enough pictures that I am bound to get a good one here and there This gives me a way to use them for something! My next project is to do a slide show using my mom's pictures. She is 81 years old and has learned to use a digital camera and knows how to download them and everything. She has gotten some amazing pictures with her little camera. I love it! So she is picking out some of her favorite pictures! I am so excited for this project.
Sorry for rambling! Thank you again for your kind words!
Awe thank you so much Jan! And thank you Gail!
Let me just say - if you have been blessed, I have been blessed!
Thank you again for the kind words!
Gail Webber pointed me toward this video and she was right, Cindy, this is a real treasure! I'm sure all who watch it and hear it feel blessed!
Thank you so much Benjamin! Your comments are much appreciated!
Very nice...I enjoyed it tremendously.

I too am anxiously awaiting my mom's choices -
She is struggling with some physical problems, but has focused on her pictures to help her keep a good attitude!
