Over here in England, this song is usually known as "Still Growing" - the tune is slightly different to the versions collected here by Cecil Sharp. You have a terrific voice and your use of the MD to accompany yourself is super, you deliver a vey compelling performance!
I have to smile because last year I took the Robert Force class on sound set ups at KMWand Isee him running around in this vid! I learned a lot in that class. Very hands on. And we all got experience playing to a mic ourselves.
Lovely ballad. The Scottish version is called Lang A-Growing which is how I know it.
