Hi Jim;
Love Cass, especially in the fall. A yard sale dulcimer is what started me with them. I saw one and knew a friend was looking for one. I arranged a buy with my neighbor that was having the yard sale. I told my friend that if she didn't take it, I would just to hang on the wall. Never dreamed of learning to play one (yep, I'm one of those). She bought the dulcimer. I couldn't find another ... so I made one. I've made a few since (very basic). I did find one other dulcimer at a yardsale. It was an exquisite Mastertone. Couldn't afford it. But I'm still looking. Congrats on your great find!
Sam
