Thanks CB... It was a lot of work, but I am definitely glad to be finished. We can't wait to see you either! Watch out Arkladulcifest....CB, LB, and KK,....all in one place at the same time could be dangerous. LOL

Isn't that how Howlin' Wolf used to sing "Sitting on Top of the World?"

Comment by Karen Keane 8 minutes agoDelete CommentThanks you all. I would so love to head west, but we are pretty busy starting in May. We would certaintly love to jam with some of our west coast friends.
The Lexington, KY area (August and September), Indiana and Tennessee (July) and Mississippi (as well as Arkansas) in May. We'll have some performances randomly inserted here and there, but those are the workshop sites where we will be teaching.
Dusty, we're booked pretty solid May-September. With the exception of Arkladulcifest (June 11-13 in Benton, Arkansas), everything is east of the Mississippi River. We would love to get out west one of these days!
Congratulations, Karen! I love the title of the book, too. Now that you guys have CDs and books out, you gotta hit the chitlin circuit and start selling that stuff. Maybe your first stop can be out west .

Thanks Strumelia, Ken and Ben for your kind words. We will do that Strumelia. It is a beautiful place Ken, but as with all caves....the bats are ever present. LOL
Congratulations Karen. Looking good on the cover. Betty and I camped at Blanchard Springs back in 1974. I remember the water being crystal clear as nothing could grow in it due to the bat guano.
This is great! Congrats to BOTH of you on your new tab books!
Karen the cover photo here is gorgeous. And clever name too!
Are these for sale yet? Or available on pre-order?
If so, you and John should each post a new thread in the For Sale Forum right away.
You may as well start these threads there as you will be selling them in a week or so...so best to have the great cover photos and accompanying comments there in the merchandising location of the site, so folks can ask about ordering and buying them!

Thanks Lexie. They are both at the printers now. They said it should be 3-5 days before they are ready. We are both so excited!

That would be awesome!
Thanks John! I'll keep checking on where you all will be. Maybe I can make one of those events.

East of the Mississippi River? How far east?
