The dulcimer I use in this video is what I call a modern Prichard. It is based on C.N. Prichard's design. Differences are no fiddle edges and full frets rather than staples. Also the tuners are Wittner geared violin tuners. The dulcimer has walnut back sides, fret board, peg head, and tail piece. The top is butternut. I built it for myself and use it for noter playing. My noter is the wood hand from an old foam paint brush. I'm using a Herdim blue pick.

Nicely done Ken! Sounds good, and nice to learn about your dulcimer build and your playing tools. :)
Thank you, Robin.
Ken, your build has a nice, clear tone-- well done! Happy PMOTPD!
