I started it with Dena Jennings of Story Gourd Workshop, and I had an amazing week working under her tutelage. Her goal is to make a gourd banjo using the least number of tools possible. So I've been doing this all by hand to. I definitely learned the glory of a rasp for carving wood!

I had such a great summer that I just could not get my head back in the shop for work. I have plenty to do, but life just gets in the way! Today was a break through, where I'm working on the gourd banjo I started this summer.
